Recently, a delegation from Well Link Bank held a high table dinner with representatives from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao). The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening Sino-Portuguese economic cooperation and expanding the financial service platform's functions. This meeting further solidified Well Link Bank's active role in promoting economic exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries and explored potential directions for future collaboration.

The delegation from Well Link Bank included Executive Director and CEO Mr. Wong Sui-sheng, Senior Director of the International Business Department Mr. Toh Ming-kit, and Senior Director of Branch Management Ms. Leung Kam-yuen, among others. Attendees from the Permanent Secretariat included Deputy Secretary-General (appointed by Portuguese-speaking countries) Mr. Dong Chengguang, representatives from Cabo Verde Mr. Miguel, Equatorial Guinea Ms. Montena, Mozambique Ms. Fan Shiya, Portugal Ms. Gui Meisi, and São Tomé and Príncipe Mr. Gao Weiyong.

During the dinner, both parties engaged in constructive dialogue regarding how to leverage Macau's role as a service platform for Sino-Portuguese economic cooperation, promote cross-border financial innovation, and assist enterprises in expanding into Portuguese-speaking markets. Well Link Bank presented its service advantages in cross-border financing, trade settlement, and international business expansion while expressing willingness to further participate in China-Portuguese cooperation projects.

Representatives from the Permanent Secretariat acknowledged Well Link Bank's positive contributions to Sino-Portuguese financial cooperation and expressed hopes for practical collaboration in more areas to jointly enhance and develop the economic relationship between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
