Well Link Life Donates HK$1M to Support Relief Operations for Zhengzhou Flood Disaster Victims in Henan Province

28 July 2021.  Hong Kong. Well Link Life Insurance Company Limited (“Well Link Life”) announced today that it will donate a total of HK$1 million through the Hong Kong Coalition to support relief operations in the wake of the flooding disaster in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.

 

Ms Zhan Meiqing, Chief Executive Officer of Well Link Financial Group, Executive Director of Well Link Insurance Group Holdings Limited and Well Link Life Insurance Company Limited, Mr. K.P. Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Well Link Insurance Group Holdings Limited present the cheque to Mr. Tam Yiu Chung, Secretary General of Hong Kong Coalition and Ms. Maria Tam Wai Chu, Deputy Secretary General of Hong Kong Coalition at the donation ceremony held today.  

 

Ms Zhan Meiqing, Chief Executive Officer of Well Link Financial Group, Executive Director of Well Link Insurance Group Holdings Limited said, “We are deeply saddened by the tremendous devastation and loss of life caused by the heavy rains and flooding in Henan Province. We extend our deepest condolences to the people in Henan. Well Link Life is committed to offering a helping hand to show our solidarity and care for the affected and displaced population. Through the donation, we hope we can provide immediate assistance to the flood victims and help them to rebuild their homes as soon as possible.

 

Mr. K.P. Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Well Link Insurance Group Holdings Limited said, “The torrential rain and widespread flooding in Henan Province, including the densely populated Zhengzhou, has caused extensive damage. As unpredictable weather continues, Well Link Life hopes to extend our humanitarian assistance and show our caring spirit to help the injured as well as family members of the casualties.  We would also like to pay our respects to all frontline disaster relief and medical staff.”
